Firstly, let's examine a lyric from Three 6 Mafia's "I Gotta Stay Fly":

DJ Paul, is a dog, one you do not trust/
You leave yo' green around me nigga yo' green gon get lit up/
You leave yo' drink around me believe your drink gon get drunk up/
You leave yo' girl around me and she bet she gonna get stuck/

While appreciate DJ Paul's honesty, I don't think I'll be inviting him to any get togethers any time soon.

Secondly, is it just me, or has Destiny's Child completely put their "Bill, Bills, Bills", "Bugaboo", "Independent Women" phase behind them with lines like "I need a soljah" and "I'll cater to you". Doesn't really matter though, considering they've broken up. I blame Jay-Z.

Finally, I can't speak for other parts of the country, but in the ATL, D4L's "Laffy Taffy" is getting mad rotation. Not just on the hip-hop/R&B stations either, but like Top-40 stations like 95.5 The Beat and Q-100.5. Never heard it? Let me give you a taste:

Girls call me Jolly Rancher cuz I stay so hard/
You can suck me for a long time, Oh my God/

Not bad for a song with this line rapped over a beat obviously made with a cheap Casio keyboard. (When you hear the song, you'll understand why I emphasized "Oh my God.")
